Does Boomp work for realtors?

Yes. Boomp's real estate page shows real posts from a paying customer's account, a listing agent's. Boomp is software that reads an agent's public website, writes social media posts about the neighborhoods the agent covers, the buying and selling process and the way the agent works, makes the images, and publishes the posts that are approved. It does not pull market data, write about listings it cannot read, answer messages or take showing requests. Those stay with the agent.

What Boomp reads

Boomp writes from what the agent's own website says in words: the about page, neighborhood and community pages, buyer and seller guides, the FAQ, and reviews shown on the site. Listings that live in an IDX feed on another site or a subdomain, a PDF market report, or a photo of a flyer are not read, so the posts lean on what the agent's pages say in text. An agent whose site explains the neighborhoods and the process gives the posts the most to work with.

What it writes

Posts that stay true for months:

  • a neighborhood: what it is near, what the streets are like, what people ask about it;
  • a step in buying or selling explained, from the agent's own guides;
  • a question clients ask, answered the way the agent answers it on the site;
  • how the agent works: the first call, the pricing conversation, closing day;
  • the agent's own story.

Its brief is the agent's own pages, so it has no source for a price trend, an interest rate or a listing the website does not state. Anything with a number in it is the agent's to check before it goes out.

What stays with the agent

Fair housing: the posts should be about places, process and habits, never about who should live where. Boomp does not screen posts for fair housing, so the person who approves a post carries that check. Anything about a specific property, financing or a protected class is the agent's call. On Core each post waits for your approval in the app by default; keep auto approval off, because a real estate post can carry a claim that needs checking.

Plans

  • Packs, $9 a month. Ten finished posts by email link. You post them yourself. Nothing connected.
  • Core, $39 a month. Twenty posts, a carousel and a video, published to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile and the other connected channels after you approve each one. Google Business Profile gets single-image posts; the carousel and the video go to the channels that take them.
  • Done for you, $275 a month. The same content, with Boomp's founder approving each post against your website. You still have the final say on anything property-specific.

No contract on any of them, and no plan includes ads or replies.

See it on your own site

Boomp for real estate agents shows real posts from a listing agent, made from her website and published through Boomp, with her name left off. If you are weighing a template membership instead, the Coffee & Contracts comparison sets the two shapes side by side. For what the posts should say, 25 real estate social media post ideas are built from the pages an agent's site already has.

The free door is ten finished posts made from your website, with images, a carousel and a short video: enter the website and an email, and the link to the posts arrives by email, with no account or card.
