When Later is the better choice
Later is a strong fit if you:
- make your own photos, Reels or TikToks and want to arrange them visually before they post;
- run an Instagram-first brand and care how the grid looks;
- want a link-in-bio page tied to your posts;
- want to collect and repost customer content (Growth and above); or
- want social listening and competitive benchmarking (Scale).
Later is cheaper than Boomp Core as software. That comparison only holds when someone at the business already makes the posts.
When Boomp is the better choice
Boomp fits if you:
- run a service business without a stream of photos or videos;
- have a website that already says what you do, for whom and how;
- want posts written for you and would rather approve than create; and
- want the same posts on Google Business Profile, Facebook, LinkedIn and the other channels you use.
On Core, approving takes about ten minutes a week for Kathleen's own accounts. That is her figure, not a guarantee. Auto approval is off unless you turn it on in settings; with it off, each post waits for your yes.
