  • Score: Earned / assessable. Five equal 20-point checks. Unknown checks do not reduce the score.
  • Coverage: Checked evidence. See the sources, check times, and the profiles we could not read.
  • Actions: Gaps to review. Each supported gap has a practical next step.
  • Suggested posts: Three text drafts. Each caption includes source links. No images or publishing are included.

Check what customers can learn from your public business pages. Enter your website and up to three optional public social-profile links. The audit shows evidence, unknowns, and practical next actions.

The presence rubric

Five equally weighted checks are worth 20 points each:

  • Discoverable social links: A website page we read links to a social profile.
  • Consistent business identity: A readable profile identifies the same business.
  • Usable customer path: A visitor can find a contact or next step.
  • Clear service description: The public pages describe current services clearly.
  • Recent social post: A readable post has an actual publication date within 90 days of the check.

Each check is marked pass, gap, or not checked. Findings show source links, supporting text, and check times. The result shows earned points / assessable points and the number of completed checks. This is a presence rubric, not a sales or engagement measure.

A hypothetical mathematical example: three passing checks, one supported gap, and one unknown produce 60 / 80 points with four of five checks completed. This is not a business result. With zero assessable checks, the result says “Not enough evidence to score.” Scores with different coverage do not establish a ranking.

What the audit cannot check

Login walls, unavailable pages, unsupported platforms, or uncertain post dates can prevent a check. Unknown profiles do not reduce the score. The result marks these checks as unknown and suggests a manual check.

A missing link means no link was found on the pages checked. It does not prove no account exists. A page-fetch time is never a post-publication time. Website-only results show incomplete social coverage. The audit does not connect to accounts, measure followers, or estimate engagement.

Why check public pages?

In September 2026, 32 of 113 Phoenix-area Facebook pages read by hand (28%) had no post in 90 days. The broader sample contained 578 businesses. These counts describe that sample and method. They do not establish a rate for all businesses or channels, or a sales effect.

Read the Phoenix study and its method.

Three suggested posts

The result includes three complete text captions with source links. They use supported website material. Review the facts and wording before using a caption. No images, carousels, videos, or publishing are included.

Use the minimum social media routine to decide what you can maintain. Use the platform selection guide to choose where that work belongs. You do not need an account on every platform to use this audit.

Save your result and choose a next step

Enter your email before the audit starts. We send the result and a private return link. Keep that link private. No account or card is required. Verified paid customers can open the tool through their account without a new email prompt.

Want a larger sample? Open the existing free ten-post pack. The pack has its own email step and allowance. An audit does not bypass that step or start a subscription.
